Courtney Seyler, M.A., LMFT
Courtney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who has worked in
various outpatient mental health and family therapy settings for the past 14
years gaining experience working with children, adolescents, and families in
the home, school and community. Courtney completed her undergraduate education
at the University of Pittsburgh in Greensburg where she majored in Psychology.
She then completed the Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy Program
at Seton Hill University.
In 2006 Courtney, wanting to utilize more of her preferred approach, Solution
Focused Brief Therapy, she began a private practice. Both her degree and her
training have led her to view people systemically and she has focused on how
people experience relationships. While providing individual and family therapy
at her practice she specializes in marriage counseling and same-sex relationships.
Amanda Berkebile, M.A., LMFT
Amanda is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who has worked in
various outpatient mental health and family therapy settings for the past 14 years.
Amanda completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh in
Johnstown where she majored in Psychology. She then completed the Masters of Arts
in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at
Seton Hill University. Throughout her career Amanda has provided individual,
family and couples counseling. In her career she has also focused on treating
victims of sexual abuse and has received extensive training in this area.
With the birth of her daughter in 2006 Amanda decided it was important to stay at
home with her family and began to work in private practice on a part-time basis.
Amanda shares Courtney's theoretical approach of Solution Focused Brief therapy
and, also having graduated from the same master's degree program, believes in a
systemic approach to therapy. In 2009 Amanda joined with Courtney as partners
and they have worked to build a practice that is both calming and nurturing with
the goal of meeting the emotional needs of their client's.
Danielle Bitner, LPC, NCC
Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a nationally certified
counselor (NCC) with experience in various outpatient therapy settings for the
last 8 years. Danielle has counseled children, adolescents and adults with
chronic mental illnesses, including substance abuse. Danielle has engaged
in individual therapy utilizing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Danielle gained her master's degree
in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University.
For the last two years Danielle has focused her time on learning more about relationships and has expanded her knowledge in marriage and family therapy through private practice and education.
Danielle sees clients Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays at our office.
Leigh Ann Mastorovich - Kubenic, LPC, CAC-D, CCDP-D
Leigh is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Addictions Counselor Diplomate (CAC--D)and A Certified Co-Occuring Disorders Professional Diplomate (CCDP-D) who received a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hill University. Leigh had for many years supervised family counselors and addictions counselors at a local agency and at this time is working full time at our office. She has provided individual, marital and family therapy services for 12 years with an emphasis on addiction and recovery within relationships.
Leigh has appointments on Monday's through Thursday's at our office.
Sue Sever, LPC, NCC
Sue is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience working with individuals, families and couples for the last 13 years. Sue gained her Master's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Counselor Education. Sue's history of experience has led her to become proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy focusing on mindfulness in the here and now and relaxation techniques. Sue specializes in couples, relationships, grief/loss and anxiety. Sue has extensive experience working with the families of aging individuals, has personal experience launching her own children into adulthood and is aware of the joys and challenges of caregiving. Sue is impassioned to help individuals, children, couples and families through difficult times and empower those who want to make positive changes.
Sue has appointments on Monday's and Friday's at our office.
